About

Hungry? Broke? Bored? Procrastinating? All four?!

You’ve come to the right place. Welcome to Munch Bae, it’s great to see you here!

Let’s be friends and eat and experience this world together.

Get to know me

I have many names: some call me Rica, some call me Veronica…actually it’s just those two. Either way, I answer to both. I’m the 4’11” broke college girl behind this little blog called Munch Bae.

I currently reside in the Big Apple as a full-time college student, part-time server, part-time babysitter, and part-time administrative intern. Besides working and studying my booty off, I enjoy taking pics, exploring, baking, eating, and dancing (to balance out all the eating I do). My favorite foods are mac n’ cheese and ice cream, even though I’m lactose intolerant, and it’s a true dream of mine to one day be sponsored by Trader Joe’s (@ Trader Joe’s if you’re reading this). Living, working, and studying in NYC definitely makes it a struggle to find time and money to fulfill my passions for food and exploration, but I still manage to do it. I created this blog so young, dumb, broke peeps like me know it’s absolutely possible to find adventure and great eats in the world without breaking the piggy bank.  So stay awhile, and join me in my journey as I eat my way through NYC and the world. And whatever you do, remember to do it for the tastebuds.
